I heard there’s some big storms out that way today. My AutoSync arrived a day early!
Now if it would just stop raining (severe weather in the area this afternoon) I could go out and play with it. View attachment 367874

Yup. Been thundering, raining, and windy most of the day. The heavier stuff went a bit farther south of meI heard there’s some big storms out that way today.
#1: dunno.Two questions for anybody.
1) Are the coil packs and plug wires on my 2012 the same as on my 2001?
2) Do the heat shields come with new plug wire sets or do you just transfer them over. I can't remember, it's been a while since I've done them on the 2001. I need to do them on the 2012 and have seen sets with and without them.
We got snow here on Monday, the first time it’s snowed here in the month of April since record keeping started. Then a bit yesterday too but mainly above 500’. Mondays snow hit all the way down to the valley floor with a few inches. Two questions for anybody.

A couple days ago it was flurrying here most of the late morning/early afternoon. Then it was in the 70s yesterday and this morning. Now its currently in the 40s.We got snow here on Monday, the first time it’s snowed here in the month of April since record keeping started. Then a bit yesterday too but mainly above 500’. It was 86 in Monroe township, but 68 in Keansburg--distance of 25 miles. I hate the heat!We hit the lower 80's here today.
Depends on the year I believe they changed it in 2010+ letting air in/out will not work, you have to use a tpms toolOur rigs, and most GM vehicles, don't need sensors that need to be programed to clone ID numbers. Just put the rig into learn mode and go around starting with front drivers, passenger, rear passenger, rear driver for the system to learn the new id's.
You enter learn mode with key on/engine off and press and hold the lock and unlock button on the key fob. Horn honks and front driver side parking light illuminates. Either use an activation tool near the stem, or just let some air out of the tire to make the sensor broadcast its ID. Horn will chirp and front passenger parking light illuminates. Move to that tire and repeat, etc. Horn will honk twice when done. Then go around and inflate tires to correct pressure.
it was 93 here a couple days ago, then it got real windy and rained and now it's back to normal about 70 deg, might be the last rain we see here until late October/November, supposed to rain again Saturday but that will probably change. We hit the lower 80's here today.
I don’t believe so. Rock Auto shows different numbers for both the square and round coils.1) Are the coil packs and plug wires on my 2012 the same as on my 2001?
lol, do they mention a AWD has no park? and that it can roll away on you if you jack up 2 tires?Yeah you know how the owners manuals are. They can save about a hundred pages of warnings if they just say "DON'T DO STUPID SHIT" at the beginning.

Supposed to be in the 30s overnight, but sunny and in the 60s tomorrow, lol
I forgot to mention, 2 weeks ago we had record heat, 78 degrees. Then we got the latest snow on record this week. Wild swings all over it sounds like.We hit the lower 80's here today.
There are 2 wheel chocks included by the jack. The manual says to place in front of and behind the tire opposite of the tire you're changing.lol, do they mention a AWD has no park? and that it can roll away on you if you jack up 2 tires?

Careful, I didn't believe it , went out to verify and lifted mine up on the my inclined driveway and the bastard rolled away with my jack under it, lolyeah, ok I need to test out the park in the wife's Buick now.
Manual, what's that?
Only thing i saw was how to sync up phones for Bluetooth hands free calling.![]()
A 2wd will do that too if you jack up the rear, and a front wheel drive if you jack up the frontCareful, I didn't believe it , went out to verify and lifted mine up on the my inclined driveway and the bastard rolled away with my jack under it, lol
*park with AWD is they bind the wheels together, no pawl
have you tried just snugging it up tighter?Anyone know what causes the 4wd actuator to bleed? Looked up a new one and couldn't see any type of sealView attachment 367921
