I've also been trying to find pics again of rthe fan shroud trimming that needs to happen. No luck, even though I've seen several posts in the past.

You'd think those would be made to not use spacers, since they're PPV/SSV and should be capable to stand up to harsher conditions.
Those go behind the center caps? Seems sketch either way.
Easy to make those just grab some aluminum tubing at the hardware and cut to length
those caps take spacers, i'm guessing reason being that way gm wouldn't have to make separate hubs for the ppv/ssvYou'd think those would be made to not use spacers, since they're PPV/SSV and should be capable to stand up to harsher conditions.
Do all the PPV/SSV wheels use spacers on the caps, or are yours just mismatched or something?
This is what I did. Small o rings keep the spacers from falling off the bolts when the caps are dismounted.Easy to make those just grab some aluminum tubing at the hardware and cut to length
Not great, but you'll get the idea. Hold the fans up and you'll see what needs trimming to fit.I've also been trying to find pics again of rthe fan shroud trimming that needs to happen. No luck, even though I've seen several posts in the past.

I’m buying a radiator soon, so I would appreciate some education. I’ve seen a few mentions of these. Because I am typically an OEM buyer I’m curious if anyone has measured any comparative data to verify a benefit from these?~ Cold Case, I'm about to call...
I have the same setup, how did you connect the two 3/8 ones, your holding and other?

The Cold Case core is twice as thick as the OEM core. And to get the fans to mount flush, you have to trim some of it to mount to the new core because of the way it's designed to snuggly fit tight in-between the tanksI’m buying a radiator soon, so I would appreciate some education. I’m a skeptic by nature. Their advertising says:
“Don't buy a 3 or 4 row aluminum radiator! It doesn't cool as good as these oversize 2 row models.”
and
”Once painted, you'd be hard pressed to find a difference over an original versus a COLD-CASE.”
Well, if it’s oversized, why can’t I see the difference? And where does the larger dimension apply? The original fills all the space there is…
Some of the reviews on their website mention trimming shrouds or other mods to make it fit.
Anyone with firsthand experience to report?
Damn, how much was the other octanes at that station?Today? Drove it about 40 miles. Ended up putting $94 worth of corn in it. I feel R@p3d. The state and that station are disgusting. The price of corn has not gone up, and the little bit of gasoline in that mixture would not increase the price to $4 a gallon...
F that station
