I also like a lot of white underneath. Ghost flames were my first attempt; will try them again the next time I've got some white diamond mixed up.

I love the white under the hood!!! I just went and ripped all the plastic out from under my hood and will be bustin' out the Krylon tomorrow. I'll post pics when I'm done. I'm in a terrible predicament; I've been workin' on the Mustang puttin' a tubular K-member and A arms under the front end but now it's all apart and I got this truck and I'm spending all my time and money on it and I want to get the Mustang running before summer. What to do... :emotions122:

Very nice DPS!!! I like the flames, kinda lame, but pretty cool. JK, not raggin. Just need to paint those cross members, electric box, PCM box, and that will diffenently add alot of simple touches.

Trick28- love the custom fenders!!!! very nice work. Like EVERYONE else on here. Can't wait to see it when it's done!

That is awesome!! You must have had to pull your valve covers to do such a nice job though. I'd love to do that but we use ours everyday and so the only opportunity I have to rip stuff apart and paint it is after supper. Thats when I did my intake and fuse box cover.

Well yeah I had everything done the same day. My powder coat guys works pretty fast so I got all my things done at once.

Thanks man. Actually its really easy. The key thing is to NEVER let it get dirty to begin with.

Agreed. Before I phone family to catch up, I mix up a small bucket of Simple Green and water, and pop the hood to hang a trouble light.

While talking, I've got the bucket with a couple of small bristle brushes (artist's brushes) soaking in it. Along with a couple of rags and a small sponge, I pick some area of the engine bay and start dabbing and wiping. I find it an efficient way to do two things I like at the same time; each of which really requires no more than half a mind to do.
