Those look just like mine
They’re the Setina pieces.

I got impatient waiting for tomorrow.

Battery took a **** on me, no warning. Only 1 1/2" years old. Duralast Gold from Autozone, 5 year warranty at the time I bought it, January of '20. Sticker on battery says 12/19. Always seems to happen when there is a big cool down with the weather. Been upper 70's for lows here forever, finally dropped to 58 last night. Came out to go to work, >click<.

This will make the 3rd battery to be installed in the 4-5 years I have owned the truck.

Think maybe the alt could be overcharging it eventually killing it? What does it charge at?

Around 14 V? It seems to charge like it should. Does a lot of the on off charging crap these are known for. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Just glad it happened at home and my job is behind my house so I can walk over. I have to open the store myself on Saturday's so I was skitzing about being late.

Afaik 14v is normal, but I have an 03 and it doesn't have that charging module bs the nnbs has.

Actually, just reminded me to get the S/N off of the blower and send them an email requesting their calibration.

I dedicated a lot of time to some mods on my Tahoe this weekend. I replaced my low beam halogen lights with one of HID Guy's kits, plasti dipped my chrome surround on my grille, tried to repaint my front bowtie (FAIL!), replaced my interior lights with LEDs, installed my holster under my steering column, and replaced a seatbelt latch on the driver's seat. Now I'm waiting on my rear door actuators to come in as well as the billet bowties I ordered. As soon as they get here I'll get to installing them too. Long weekend but I got it done. What did you do to your Tahoe/Yukon?
Do you want your bowties a certain color? Painting seems like it would be easy, but I found that wrapping them turns out better unless you’ve got a paint booth. I’m pretty picky about the paint though.

I did mine like 30,000 miles ago, but I didn't drop the spare. Did it give you a lot more access?
I don't remember it being in the way, but that doesn't mean much since it was so long ago. Haha
I took my spare tire and third row seats out a long while back. I’m not worried about the weight since I have more weight in tools sitting in the back than the third row and spare tire combined.
Having the tire gone makes a HUGE difference when doing any rear end work (Diff fluid, shocks, back up sensors…etc).
