Spyder Red Smoke LED tails. 2nd set. Had a set on my Tahoe and took them off before I sold it last Fall. Told myself I was sticking with OEM tails on my Yukon XL so I sold them. Got the itch for new lights last week and ended up ordering exact same ones I had.

I love my Spyder tails. Mine are smoked too but the interior is a gold color I guess? Anyway they go perfect with Pewter paint.

Have any of you guys had your steering wheel leather wraps replaced? Mine's looking fairly worn...

I'm old and when I was getting into the 4th gen f-body scene in the LS1 era as a teen, Zaino Bros products were all the rage. Their leather cleaner and a conditioner smell great ( https://www.zainostore.com/category/interiortires.html ). The conditioner is called "Leather in a Bottle." I haven't used any of the polishes in ages but still use the leather stuff. I used a leather brush (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MT6GD80) with the cleaner on my steering wheel. Quite a bit of nastiness came off...it was kinda gunky - i don't know if it was 15 years of hand dirt or possibly a top layer of something on the leather, but now it's smooth and soft. Then I conditioned with the leather in a bottle. It could probably stand a second pass as on that pic, at the bottom of the wheel, you can see some discoloration by the bottom left spoke.

Coincidentally, I've also used Zaino glass polish on the exterior of the windows of my house. It works much better than vinegar/baking soda paste.

Yes, @treehan77 I believe is our tester. Perhaps he can weigh in on the cleaning before application..? [emoji51][emoji106][emoji16]
Yeah I washed the truck, then scrubbed the running boards and all black trim I was applying it with blue dawn. Then alcohol. I actually did multiple times, I didn’t want any issues. I was pretty surprised at how much better they looked after just a good scrubbing-after years of applying goo to them.

Once with dawn and alcohol would surely be good enough I guess. The directions recommend Dawn. I blew it off and let it dry overnight in the garage. You definitely don’t want water to mix with it or drip on it.

Blue Dawn....sounds like either a **** name or some new drink or maybe even a new drug. :hmmm2:

Hey, mate

Did you bake them to open or just pried?

Also, would u mind to give a link to the projectors inside?

Cheers, Pavel

Hi, I used a heat gun. It came off easily once that butyl was warm. I've been trying to look for a seller online, but unfortunately can't find any. I just picked these up from a shop overseas. I'll definitely post it when I find it.

Cheers!

After 2 months sitting in garage(new radiator, hoses, pump, efan conversion...etc.) finally take a ride, after 20mins back cover from water pump pop out and dumped all coolant.
****** GMB, I hoped it will last at least a year, not 20min. :-(

Hope AcDelco OEM WP will last until warranty, fingers crossed.

Good reason to not buy cheap parts. At least you weren’t on a trip 1000 miles from home. Gates also makes great water pumps.

I have it as a spare for some years in garage from previous owner, i dont want to use it, but I messed threads on my original pump when removing fan clutch, and in that time a want car ready as soon, so i dont want to wait 2weeks for new pump and pay twice for customs and shipping, as I have before MOT(National Inspection and smog test), and in my country they dont like DOT on lights and missing rear fog, missing stamped VIN so I want spare some money for other jobs :)

You see how the knobs are smaller on the main ac control, not sure if they should be bigger or if i need the Escalade ac control
Mine aren’t like that, they’re bigger.
Ok guys, I know those knobs are hard to find.. but I’m not finding anything showing those knobs at all. Even the factory replacement stuff are showing the same knob style I have, when looking for Esky knobs / hvac controls. The knobs in your pictures look to be exactly the same as the headlight knob. Is it the same one..? What model / year had the larger, smooth knobs..?

AFAIK you could never buy just the knobs. I bought the entire control heads from used Escalades on eBay.
