I know we covered this already but after driving a lot in NYC today, this clicking seat is driving me NUTZ!!!!
Eveytime I stop then pull away theres this annoying little click and movement from the drivers seat.

Not sure if this is the track or the seat itself but I'm gonna rip it out and find out.

Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks

JD

I just had my seat cushion out today. My brother, who works in an auto trim shop, was kind enough to swap out the heater (non-successful, but that's another story).

He pointed out that the seat was already apart for something and pointed out some new padding. He also pointed out a small piece of metal that he said always breaks. There was evidence that mine was fixed... and broke again. The way this metal sits, I could see it making a clicking noise when the frame is flexed. I took some pics with my phone. I'll have to go through them tomorrow and see if I got the area I'm talking about.

Cool thanks Dave.
I actually took the seat out today to replace the heat pad and cushion and for some reason after installing the seat back in the truck, the clicking seems less noticeable

did you notice anything already loose when removing the seat?

if i see that right, there are 4 bolts that hold the cushion on?

Actually the 4 bolts hold the whole seat in place.
I took seat right out to install new heat pad and cushion
No loose nuts or bolts were discovered
