My first mod will likely be custom headlights. Any suggestions on who and where to go online?

I got a nice set of Spyder Halo headlights from www.CarId.com. I would definitely buy them again.

And I flew out to Boise, ID and rented a car to drive over to Eugene and up to Seattle once. Absolutely beautiful country over there. Where is that Aviation museum at? I remember visiting one somewhere (for some reason I thought it was when I was in Lincoln, NE) and got to see the SR-71 and the Spruce Goose. It was very exciting to see that!

Welcome and thank u for your service.

Very clean machine. Does it have the air shocks in the back?

It does have an air adjust system for the shocks in the back. It seems to do so automatically.

If I'm not mistaken, it's in McMinnville Oregon.

They should be here on Wednesday. How was it wiring the led's for the running lights? Also, do you have pictures of your lights installed?

I was just curious. Yeah, the PO could've traded someone for their colormatched parts or maybe it was ordered new like that. I de-chromed mine.

I'm actually thinking about removing the molding and accents for a more clean look myself.

Also, are your Halo's LED or CCFL? I got the CCFL version, because they appeared to be brighter than the LED version.

(Ugh..wrong way)

So you ordered a pair up? Which ones did you get?

The wiring was easy...if I can do anyone can. ;) One thing on the Yukon is that you can only aim the low beam with the entire front clip off, so I recommend just taking the whole clip off to do the change over. That’s with the Spyder light that I have anyhow.

I don’t remember going off in the direction of McMinnville while driving to Seattle. I know there’s a similar museum in Lincoln, NE and that’s where I must have seen those planes.

Hell, I am lucky to even remember what I had for dinner last night. I believe it was smoked chicken with mac and cheese an a salad but the brain fart juice was 4 double shot glasses of Knob Creek. WOWZER!

Here are the ones I ordered. I'm also replacing the High and Low beams with LED bulbs Sealight Xenower's

Apparently, I have to wire the running lights to the wiring harness via quick splice connectors. Did you have to do that? I am using the following video as a guide.

Yeah, the site in McMinnville would be far off the beaten track from main highways. It was a very interesting place to go though. I couldn't believe how big the Spruce Goose was, I took a peak inside from near the cargo area, there were so many analog switches and gauges, It was amazing.

Nice! That’ll look great!

Yes...I had quick splice connectors. Just to be safe I shrink wrapped the connectors.

Now that I think of it...I think I have CCFL with LED Halos. Seems to me (if I remember correctly) Spyder voids their warranty if you put LED bulbs in.

Do you go to car shows in the area? Is there a club for us?
