Definitely an improvement.I put newer z71 midnight edition wheels on my 05 Yukon, not in love with it but it’s better then it was.

This one will fit fo sho.Might need to be welded on though, not sure how it mounts. Also great for covering up any faded paint you might have up there aka @Tonyrodz.What sharkfin antennas will fit our GMT800 without modifications? I was looking at ‘07+ but thought the ‘11-‘14 also looks pretty good. Anyone done this swap? TBH, I’d rather just remove both of them, but won’t likely be patching holes in the roof any time soon.
I would personally go with Right Shark vs Left Shark. Will get better performance. What sharkfin antennas will fit our GMT800 without modifications? steamFinally put the vinyl on the bowtie I've had since June. Got some new black plate frames - they're silicone. Not sure how much I like them.
Debadged the rear. Chevrolet emblem came off fairly easy, but that bowtie/tahoe was a *****. So much thick adhesive. I took some swirl mark remover to the spots but it'll need more work. Gotta get a dual action polisher, then I'll do a paint correction on the whole thing and detail it.

Oh yeah, was shampooing the rear and noticed how easy the trim of the captain's chairs came out and before I knew it, both were out completely. This is a work in progress. I guess I didn't realize how nasty it was. Going to take a while. Right now just soaking/brushing with Folex. I think it's either coffee or Coke from my kiddo years ago. Any other suggestions?

I'd need a ton of those to cover my damage up--it would look like a damn feeding frenzy on my roof! This one will fit fo sho.Might need to be welded on though, not sure how it mounts. Also great for covering up any faded paint you might have up there aka @Tonyrodz.View attachment 268958

Just don’t like the funky antenna on the DS. I was thinking of swapping it for a newer design. What are you looking to do @Sam Harris ?
I replaced the mast with a stubby, it helped.Just don’t like the funky antenna on the DS. I was thinking of swapping it for a newer design.

I have an Esky cowl piece to do a delete / change on the mast antenna. Just figured I wasn’t the first one to want to swap the XM / on star one with a newer version. I don’t care about maintaining function, but there’s a hole, so I’ll either leave it, or maybe swap with something more modern looking.I replaced the mast with a stubby, it helped.
There’s ones like this, supposed to fit over the top after the mast is removed. I’d like you to buy one and try it out! Edit: nvm, I just ordered one just like it on eBay for $8. I’ll see if it fits and isn’t too big.
Meh. Not really interested in that. I was looking at OEM stuffThere’s ones like this, supposed to fit over the top after the mast is removed. I’d like you to buy one and try it out! You could start a trend on here...https://simplygadgetsoutlet.com/pro...dzemJvv-wkmv-PBLSHiLtM5ouD3zp59IaAgTsEALw_wcB

BeastAre you installing it on the Beast or the Machine?
Yeah I figure it’s crap, it’s just mounted with tape but so is a lot of the trim. It’s also probably stupid big. It does attach to the place where our mast is, with a nut. But it’s $8 and I want to see. I’ll probably pull the one off The Machine and see if the mounting is the same as The Beast.Meh. Not really interested in that. I was looking at OEM stuff
Hey, maybe it’ll look great! I know you didn’t want to wait for me to do it. Lol.Yeah I figure it’s crap, it’s just mounted with tape but so is a lot of the trim. It’s also probably stupid big. Forgot to post yesterday. Got an alignment after the ball joint and upper control arm + Bilstein 5100 install. Much better
