weird thing with the images, sometimes they are different for the same part number, one dealer may show it one way and another a different way, even the actual diagram and shape can be different so just a heads up, if it is in question you can always call your local dealer parts department and give them the last of your vin and they can confirm fitment.

Black rubber tubing. Install it inside of the rubber seal. Use some soapy water to help push it through. I’m sure there are some YouTube videos of someone out there doing it. If you guys want I’ll get you the p/n of the stuff I used.

What is this P/N that you speak of?

A link perhaps.

Please and thank you.

He's just talking about inserting rubber tubing into the weatherstripping to make it shape back out and not be flat/squished

I'm having a HELL of a time getting motor mounts. I'm on vendor number 2. They're INSISTING on a VIN before they'll expedite the order with GM. This big brother draconian crap is driving me nuts. I looked up a valid VIN for an '09 Hummer H3 so it would match the motor mounts, and gave them my VIN for the transmission mounts. (holding breath)

Well they came yesterday. Now I gotta install them. Gonna scope out the job while I change the oil this afternoon.

Yeah, I know. I was just curious what he used to accomplish this since he seemed to have done it successfully.

You got some rare parts there. How’d you get em? I thought everybody was out.
They're on backorder. But apparently they are trickling out. They questioned my order because the H3 mounts are handed, and I ordered two of the same part number. When I finally broke down and told them the truth, they were like "oh, okay". It took a few weeks, but they shipped.
