Wasn't intended to be! The whole thing sounded too absurd to be taken seriously in my mind. I should probably put a disclaimer in my sig warning of misleading sarcasm because I'm too old and ornery to try to learn a second language.

Honestly I originally thought you we full of it but then you do know your shit so... I was like, well, I have heard of these springs breaking and dropping valves so maybe.... And since GM designed such a robust valvetrain that something stupid like needing to turn the springs the right way is possible...

I installed my Alla Lighting fog light bulbs this evening. They don’t snap in very easy. I had to take the housings out of the bumper cover to get a good angle.
Now the snowball... What Yall using for headlights that don’t break the bank? I am fine with LED or halogens.

I have sea light led lights. They are in my build thread. Got them on Amazon.

these are the ones I’m using. Someone in another thread on this forum recommended them and they work great.

Well, they are brighter but I feel I would have been better off buying a good set fog lamp assemblies.

After a month got my rig back from the body shop. Anyone know the part numbers on the trim around the windows. It’s faded and I’d like to replace em.

BTW I painted mine with Krylon Fusion flat black and they match perfect with the rest. I’ve used that paint on my exterior plastics of my trucks for years and every piece I’ve painted still looks perfect. Just clean real well with soapy water followed by scotchbrite and alcohol.
