Tony, I can’t imagine the frustration that you are feeling.

There are 6.0’s available, he just doesn’t want to pay for them. Explain to him then you brought him a working motor and he needs to provide you a working motor, even if it costs him.

Here is one that isn’t too far from you. Yes it’s $2000 and he will lose money, but they are out there. He needs to understand that in his business, there is a risk that he will damage stuff and that he needs to replace it when that happens. He should have insurance to cover this sort of thing. Otherwise he shouldn’t be in business. This is no different than if he put a customer vehicle on his lift and it slides off. He wouldn’t tell the customer that they are on their own and he has no skin in the game.

Yes, I feel uncomfortable asking for donations--again . My tyf brothers came through for me once before, and I don't want to feel like I'm taking advantage of anyone's kindness--especially in these tough times.

My family and I have been fortunate to remain employed during this mess. I wouldn’t have offer if 1. I didn’t mean it and 2. It would cause me hardship. To be honest it is a little selfish on my part. I get to feel good and unlike family it’s a one and done. Plus you would have to read all of my posts. I got what I believe to be a fantastic deal on my Yukon. $3200 So it’s kind of paying if forward. I believe in Karma and the yen and yang of it. I seen were members offered their time and skills to get you back on the road. Guess what? I’m not coming to New Jersey. I been offered a free trip there for myself and wife a couple of times in the past few years through work. I decline. Not because it’s New Jersey but because I hate traveling. Now Vegas I can handle that every few years. Hope you get back on the road soon.

. I also did the homemade parking brake bypass. Just wired in a toggle switch from the ground to the parking brake wire, which is green in my application.
