It's pretty easy, took about 20 minutes. There's a few videos on youtube that go over the process.
Thanks.

Never owned a car with heated steering. Don’t need to be spoiled. LolI don’t know. I really like that heat d wheels the dozen or so times I use it each year. Tough decision.

it's easy here all they do is plug the obd port into a computer that checks for codes, and a quick visual inspection to see if you have cat's and 02 sensors and 5 minutes later you are done.I passed smog today. Lol. California sux. Lol

hell you could roll in there on 3 wheels and a skateboard and pass.
NY is the same but most don’t check shit. They are also supposed to pull a wheel to check brakes too...it's easy here all they do is plug the obd port into a computer that checks for codes, and a quick visual inspection to see if you have cat's and 02 sensors and 5 minutes later you are done.

Yup. Guilty. I got in on one of the last orders to pop up. Swapping wheels took less than 30 minutes. The nut is RH thread, BTW. Getting rid of the "wood" insert was one of the best improvements I've made to the inside of my Yukon. I hated that plastic piece. And though I wouldn't have thought so before having it, I LOVE having a headed wheel.ya I think 3 or 4 of us cleaned out the remaining stock on the heated non wood trim steering wheels last year, mine is sitting here still wrapped up

I would think so. And the non-insert wheel has heat all the way around, without the cold plastic lump of an insert spoiling the fun.Bet a heated wheel feels good on arthritis hands.
