Looks like a serious restriction. Nicely pre corroded. Doesn't really show in pictures but I can see and feel it. Other bend is not as bad. What say you?

Perhaps I can use the old/original piece instead of this?

I know it. Just got it delivered from RA. Dorman. That bend was the first thing I saw when I opened the box. I think I can use the old pipe if it's long enough

Carefully clamp both end connectors in a vise firmly so they can't change position relative to one another. You may need multiple vices or clamps, held down. Then, when nothing can move in any direction, heat that bend with a torch and carefully hammer or squeeze on the other sides of that bend to widen it. Leave everything in the clamp for a few hours until it's cool. This will unrestrict flow through that turn without changing the general shape of the object.

It's made of steel so it's unlikely it can be reformed. I'll just use the original pipe or return this if that doesn't work.

Thanks for the suggestion

Old hose won't work. It's getting returned.

It's true, blacksmiths are just con artists banging on stuff for no reason
Thanks for your suggestion. Why you think I would screw around and void the warranty by damaging one of the parts I do not know. Best of luck in your endeavors.

That’s all you had to say.
Have another one coming so will see if it's any better. Only other option would be to buy an additional return hose and just use the metal part from it. Or pay $175 for the Delco.

Just got a replacement and that same bend is worse than the last one. Not only is it restricted but this one is also creased.

This time I asked for a $18.53 partial refund to buy a return hose and I'll use the hard line from it. They've agreed.

Might get this in eventually.
