Hey fellas, NEW issue today. Was coming from the RX and low coolant light came on...temp.was fine but started to heat up so i pulled over and shut off the engine. Wife brought me bottle of antifreeze and water. Poured contents and drove thru neighborhood and made it to my street but started to overheat so shut it off again. Walked to the house and filled bottle with water and poured all into reservoir and drove the 1/4 mile and parked. I noticed leak towards the right rear side of the engine below. Any clue as to what might be my issue or what to look for?

LOL!!! I usually find it next to the blinker fluid, chatter grease and the 200 watt luminous liquid!!

I'll check there but when I looked under...the water is coming from around the oil pan area...none near the water pump...and leaks when running?? Temp is fine after filling with water.

As suggested, check the heater hoses going to the firewall on the passenger side. It is a known point of failure, and it could leak and run down the back side of the engine.
Thanks for all the help in where to look. I didn't get a chance to check the firewall area but will today.

Ok...thanks for the heads up on the fittings to the firewall...once I took the time and actually started to inspect the lines...this was stating me in the face!

I've noticed replacement fittings in black and white. What's the difference?

Also, it's a pain in the ass to remove!!!

I have the auxiliary air so these aren't like mine. The ones on my Tahoe are like this.

Broken side is black, the right side one appears to be white (ish).

The angle is a little different between black and white. Be cautious of replacing them with anything other than AC Delco. Many have reported bad luck with aftermarket (namely dorman) replacements.

And leak8ng would have become peeing. Gotta be careful with autocurrect as well, I've seen offensive replacements! This is the reason I stick with a phone with a physical keyboard. Virtual keyboards drive me nuts.

I looked and can see how you fat fingered and got voolany6. You need spell check.
