Finally finished installing and wiring the momentary button and LNC2000 box for launch control. Going to test everything out in Mexico tonight, or tomorrow after I clean up some of the engine bay wiring.

Yeah. My output shaft kinda twisted itself into oblivion. Damn supercharger lol. That was on a 1-2 shift.

I got smoked by a jeep yesterday, I was already zippin around and he pulled up next to me at the light but I wasn't sure so I just took off anyway we were neck-n-neck till about 3rd gear then he left me behind if I was in manual probably would have been much closer. I think it was a 2017 grand cherokee they are about a 1000lbs less in weight. He must have had something his exhaust was pretty loud for a jeep

I hooked up the 2 wires in the engine compartment for the trailer power and brake control.

The wires were still taped up on the looms. The one near the master cylinder was easy, but the one near the fender was actually mostly under the fuse box. That loom ran under the box from the rear then came out from underneath at the side and only a bit of the looped/taped wire was showing. I cut part of the tape and tried to pull on the loop in the wire but no go. I had to loosen the 3 bolts that hold the fuse block down (2 in front, 1 in rear) so I could get a bit of clearance and pull the rest of the wire out.

A bit of a pain in the ass!

At least I know that the original owner never used it to tow, or even used the receiver for anything, as there are no scratches of scuff marks in the paint on the receiver

you can tow with out hooking up the wires. Fyi. one is just a battery charge wire for trailer house bat and the other is for elec brake control which isn’t needed if you have jli brake contol from factory.... I know ... no scuff marks..

I was just looking at that taped up bunch of stuff on mine wondering what it was. Mine was a "trailer virgin" until I owned it too.

My 2012 doesn't have the factory brake controller

Hooking up the controller was much easier on the GMT800's, they had a harness plug under the dash that just plugged in, none of this bunched up blunt ended wires you have to crimp the plug to like on the GMT900's

ya, I'll do something eventually, trying to save "some" money right now which is going well at the moment I am not able to shop my regular places for my ebay stuff so I am just listing from my packrat stockpile of goodies so money is going from inventory to cash, how fast that happens depends on how fast I work I finally got somewhat motivated the past few days I've been super lazy.

Every single thing is easier on the GMT800’s. Shit is so easy to work on it’s ridiculous. I heard somebody say they’re like legos.

You still had to splice to a controller on the 800’s..

2 wires and a nut under hood? Whew ...im tired
