How'd you figure it out? Your buddy the mechanic diagnose it? Had to get another sensor?
I had it towed into the shop this morning and he put it up on the rack while I was washing cars today. Fortunately the sensor was still good. But he had to take all the wires out of the connector and get a new connector and put it back together. It wasn’t too bad but still could have gone without breaking that.... lol

Glad it was a relatively easy fix, frustrating as it may have been.

Me too! My mind instantly went to all the expensive things..... like fuel pump... alternator... I’m like well crap that’s just what I need right now... lol. Now if I can just stop breaking things and keep my truck running.... :disgust:

Well front window tint has been on my mind for like two years now, but I always pushed it off. Finally got it done today. The mechanic shop I’m friends with and do work for has a guy that does tint for him. I did a detail a on a truck that Dan was lean selling last week and the tint guy came and did all the windows on the truck before it got sold. I grabbed his number and he quoted me $60 to do my two front windows. And I’m thoroughly happy with the tint. He did a great job. Here is the before shot:

Had to give the road tank a quick rinse to get rid of some tree sap that was attracting the dust from where I was parked working the last couple days. Nice and freshened up. I can be like @Fosscore with after wash pics in my build thread.... :D

Not that I think anyone regrets getting tint done on windows, but a week later and I love the front tint. And no hassle from any law enforcement yet lol

So yesterday was a bit of an adventurous day. I kinda cheated on the Nali yesterday..... lol
It was time to go down to Orange County and pick up our family friends 20’ sea ray speed boat and haul her up the mountain. Last week when I got home from a trip down the mountain I noticed my front brakes were starting to make a little noise. I figured “well those pads have been on since February of 2018 when I did the upgraded brake package and it was probably time to replace them.” Rock auto had power stop carbon fiber ceramic pads that are rated for heavy duty towing and mountainous area driving. Which is Exactly what I do, so I ordered them. Wasn’t sure if the pads were gonna get delivered in time before yesterday for the towing, so I made a backup plan and asked my best friends parents if I could borrow a truck just in case. Of course they said yes. Ordered them Saturday, fedex had them delivered Tuesday, and shop put them in Thursday while was handling washes. Even though brakes are good to go Bruce had called and said hey the I’m sending you one of the company trucks because ours are towing horses up the mountain Friday. He sent me the 2013 king ranch F350 that used to be his sons company truck that no longer works for them. I’ve driven this and detailed it many times. I said what the heck I already made the plan I’m gonna just go with it. So I got to do a tow job with an awesome F350, and I gotta say it was a ton of fun.... towing up the mountain was so easy with all the extra power from the truck... I had already thought about saving for a one ton truck with a diesel, that is just now solidified in that I definitely want one... haha.

I also needed to know exactly how much the boat weighs, so on the way home I stopped in to the TA truck stop and rolled onto the scales with the truck and boat. Turns out the boat only weighs 4,360lbs... way less than I thought she weighs! She looks heavy sitting on the trailer. So at least now I know she’s totally safe to pull behind my Denali and well within my tow capacity. I’ll get a shot of the weigh slip when I get home. I do need to get a weight distributing hitch for this particular boat though.

Here’s the weight slip from CAT scales. Was an interesting experience... I’ll admit i looked kinda funny pulling into the scale in a one ton truck in front of a fully loaded tractor trailer! :D

High desert LKQ pick apart had an 2002 escalade brought in yesterday. I scooted down the mountain real quick this morning. Pulled the rear hatch glass and the third tail light base... anyone wanna take a guess as to how much I paid for it?!?! Lol

In good shape. My third tail light base is going wonky so I can repaint this one and replace it. Plus one of the hinges on my 2004 esky hatch is starting to separate from the glass. I’m gonna JB well the hinges on the 2002 hatch. That should keep it together. Thinking I may color match the trim around the glass since I’ll be painting it.... haven’t decided yet. lol
