I'm so excited!! We dropped off my rear panels, the ones that go from B to C pillar at the shop that is doing my headliner. He is using the newer material to recover that vinyl that wraps along the top of those panels. And my visors are going to be recovered. Found a set at LKQ that had intact mirrors so between those and my good visors, hopefully they can get them together and recover those. I'm even getting a newer front bumper!!! Tim is laying my speaker wires. I got to help scrub and wire wheel the floorboard and spray rust inhibitor and then got shutdown for any further work. I'm so excited!!!! She is going to look sooooo much better. Definitely paint and body next year and seats. Then she gonna be a dime.

I have some nice 95 era gray seats in my van from a Blazer. Wish you were local, I'd sell them to ya. I want just regular van seats.

We found red clay mud under the carpet. And $1.07 and .22 casings. LOL

Carpet is going down! It is not quite plug and play, Tim is having to to cut each bolt hole individually. So the rear is laid down (yay!!) I've only had rhino liner back there since I bought it. The middle is down to the front of the center of console. So Tim has to finish up the front, cut it to meet the firewall and hopefully my visors, headliner and back panels are done soon.

Making progress! Once the stereo gets put together and stuff, hopefully I'll have my headliner, visors and panels back so she can start going back together. Got to figure out why the front left door is binding on the fender about halfway down. The gap looks good all the way down. It might be the door roller pins, but that requires a R/R of the door and Tim might kill me.

Nah, we needed something or other that we didn't have. Shows how much I know. But I got to jam some Bocephus so I'm REALLY happy gal.

Got the call this morning that my headliner, overhead console and side panels were done. Ran to the shop and grabbed them. Mark Krause did an awesome job on everything. The headliner is the new material, looks fantastic. He matched the vinyl on the side panels exactly to OEM. We got all the trim reinstalled and DAMN!!! Next step is to wire wheel and seal all the seat frames/legs etc. Found an all black seat cover for my rear seat. Then I need to re-seat the door panels. They did not like being installed without the trim. And the front bumper is going to get switched out.

The vinyl was already there on the rear. But it had cuts and looked like garbage. So Mark covered them.

Rear seat is back in. Then I get to deal with this. Compressor is only 6 months old, AC Delco. Replaced everything. Can't get a warranty exchange because I didn't pay a shop to flush the system.

Got a ton of rain and this damn truck is leaking in the left rear. Not sure why it is leaking. Three guesses are rear door seals, 3rd taillight or roof rack. Joy! I did get a deal on a replacement ac compressor from my buddy that works at a local dealership. We will try AC Delco again. I love/hate this thing as much as it loves/hates me.

That SUX!! On your new headliner . Try to suck the water out of the headliner with a wet/dry vac, or even dab it out with some white towels. Don't rub it tho.

No rubbing..blotted as much as I could. Got a heat gun to try and dry as much as I can. Gonna investigate when the rain stops.

Don't use a heay gun. It'll get way too hot, a hair dryer is much better. Hopefully it won't leave much of a water stain.

This heat gun runs at really low temps. My husband does visual displays for museums, hospitals, etc. This is what they use to help with the same thing if they get water damage.

Fun fact, his company did the newest installation at the Corvette museum. it's a pretty awesome exhibit
