Interesting! That would be great if that was the problem all along.

By the way, that .PDF is definitely worth saving. Thank you.

Very interesting that multiple posts on this forum point to the battery grounds for a host of issues. Once you have a chance to put your vehicle through the paces a bit, please let us know if it solved the problem.

I sure hope it works out for you this time. You have been through enough. I remember my Lemon Law case in Florida and they put me through the ringer but in the end I was successful. Lots of electrical gremlins on an early build 2015 Tahoe and I wonder if it was a ground issue that they could not find or were not willing to even try to find. Lots of part chasers out there now instead of trying to get to the root cause.

That's certainly right. All of the truck platform models seem to have a lot of issues with various grounds. Where's the QC?

I spoke with a Lemon Law law firm already as a backup plan. I won't get into the details here since this is a public forum but as a last resort it is on the back burner. I also did buy this Yukon used with 34,000 miles. Build date of September of 2018, bought it in December of 2019. It was a Hertz rental.

I honestly do like the truck and would most forgiving-ly prefer to keep it so as long as the issues do not re-occur. But that's an uncertainty considering they've already come back twice. I wish they would have found whatever was wrong with this ground the first time. Just shows that, like you said, the length of time at which things are investigated is sometimes sub-par.

Don't forget about the G218 ground issue on the dash that was an issue for all trucks and SUVs built prior to June of 2015. Bleh. Whoever is doing their job isn't paying attention. I don't think a robotic arm tightens down these grounds, or do they?

I haven't taken the time to find this ground thus far, so for now I'll take the tech's word from his notes.

I had a ton of weird issues and a battery replacement fixed them all. I even had the battery tested and it showed fine. Finally replaced it and most of the gremlins went away immediately.

Can anyone provide a schematic, photos or description of all the ground points on a Yukon Denali? I'd like to start working my way through them...

Radio freezing, warning sensors coming on randomly, seat presets not working randomly, stability track service warning. It was literally like a gremlin was in the electrical, until the battery was replaced.
