I think the piece on the truck that Wes posted looks like it is a little more pronounced than the stock one.

I thought I got the wrong tailgate cap on my 2007 when I bought it used until I discovered that they had two different stick tailgate caps. One was simply a round top cap and the other was the airfoil shaped cap. I kept looking for an airfoil style one but ended up trading the truck in before I found one at a price I would pay.
Correct. The one he posted was more like the SS ones which is what I would do if I was to go that route. They make replicas now since you can't find the OEM ones.

this is one is what they call the intimidator2 and it has a center notch, they also have the intimidator which is just a straight wing without the notched center section (like the SS), I think the notched one would match up well with the way they styled the z71

Who makes the one you’re looking at?
Edit: found them, custom auto parts out of Compton. They make an Intimidator and Intimidator 2 one for the NNBS also.

well the JL's came quick, but.....they shipped me the wrong ones, go figure had the window seal show up for the yukon at the same time and I'll be dammed I ordered the wrong side, but on my behalf the picture used in the description depicted the drivers side but the title said right side :emotions122:

got a email today saying my Subwoofer box was shipped  I figured I wouldn't get that until all this crap rolls over. I've been trying to not spend money with unknown horizons but my internet sales are up at least for the interim, maybe some good sales will come along soon......

I had those kappas in my sierra, man they sounded so damn good. I could turn the aftermarket stereo up probably 3/4 volume and it was still clear. With the factory headunit in, you could go full volume and it still sounded awesome. ALMOST want o do them in the tahoe...almost

I had Alpine in both of my older trucks for years but eventually they self-destruct and now alpine seems to have dropped the ball so I started replacing them with the infinity as the older alpine speakers have become hard to find so I will probably go with these infinity's this time, I have some of it together, I still need the door speakers, 2 amps and a headunit, I keep holding out for possible sale's and I was waiting for the subwoofer box to be built that's finally on the way and should be here Monday.

I had them in my truck for hell.....7-8 years and they were as good the day I traded it as the day i installed em. They made a huge difference in the trucks audio. Kinda wished I had pulled em out but I dont have my oem blose anymore
