That 4L80 really kills the towing capacity. The 2009 and later had a 9300 lb towing capacity rating in 4x4.

If its in good shape it might be fun.

Gotta get those with 4.10 gears; they are 9700/9400 tow rating compared to 7700/7400 for 3.73s. Gimme the low gear!

Actually, you'd be mistaken there. The 2500 trucks are extremely durable. Mine is at 195k miles, is all original, and I've spent like $300 in repairs over the last six years. Total.

I wouldn't hesitate to hitch up my 8600-lb trailer and drag it across the country with 100% confidence. Oh, wait, I did that a few months ago.

Yes, $11k is a bit high, but $10k is entirely reasonable, and they'd get it.

And that listing? A 2010 with 120k for $12k? That's about 10k too low. First thing I'd ask is, "What's wrong with it?" I'd expect to see a salvage title at that price.

The 2500 trucks are unicorns. Less than 10,000 per year were made, and 2013 was the last year. They are highly coveted in RV circles and command quite a premium. If I had to replace mine tomorrow, I'd budget $20k-$25k for a 2011-2013, well-optioned, with 100k miles.

I know, right!? That place has a history of pricing things high, I believe it's a buy here pay here place. I only posted this one because its the first 2500 Suburban I've ever seen in Bermuda Blue.

An '07 with 250k? Not for me. Previous gen and that mileage wouldn't throw up any red flags. But not for a high price. Not that there aren't any '07 - '14 that haven't gone that high miles just fine. I just trust the older ones more based on experience.

That said, when I was looking for my truck, I found a super clean 200k tahoe at a local dealer and I think they wanted 10k for it. Seemed pretty high to me.

That blue definitely is purdy.

I paid 12,500 for my 09 2500 with 215k. The price is decent especially from a small lot. The 2500 Suburban 900s are somewhat rare, even more so in that color. If it's not rusty it's a fair buy. Too bad it's 4L80 but still 3/4 ton...

Mine now has 238k with zero issues. Wear items have been replaced but it still holds 22 psi of oil pressure at hot idle and 40 cruising.
