The RST wheels were a bit of an impulse due to the price. They're not my first choice, but they were (mostly) black, had decent tires, TPMS sensors, lug nuts and they were a few miles from my house. Living where I do, nobody would have an RST, much less a modded one. So I considered it fate. Plus there's a little coolness factor having wheels from a factory performance model. They'll do for now.

Perfect stance- now that it’s lowered and you see how much better it handles, you should get the biggest sway bars you can find ( DJM or McG’s) and see what they do. It’s pretty pronounced on a lowered rig, way more so than a stock height one. I put the DJM’s on The Beast and was impressed.

Heater is back to life, apparently the previous owner poured that quick fix radiator anti-leak crap and plugged up the heater core. Heater core was able to be flushed out and now blows seriously hot!

speaking of which I noticed a little clink-clank today while driving the yukon when turning left/right, probably need to get under it and lube up the sway bar bushings again, eyeballed it and everything looks ok, it's been raining for a week and still raining for the rest of the week so probably wont get to it for a few days, seems to creep up about every 6 months especially when it's wet out.

And GM went from a simple design on the NBS that require no tools and take 2 minutes to remove to these.

They are hateful engineers....thats all I have to say about that. All that work ( took 2 and half hours ) to remove both headlights, put in my switchbacks, resistors and LED headlights that were supposed to fit, only to have them hit the radiator support when put back...damn it. I know I can massage the supports but I will wait til I get a retrofit done before I start to cut and bash. But i couldnt settle with how the lights were forced back into place and they seemed to have some floating glare that I didnt like and i ended up removing them last night.

there is a easier way, I assume you took the bumper cover off? you don't have to

No i left the bumper cover on which made it WAY more difficult...if the cover was off the headlights would just slide straight out. Im just going to leave it all alone for a while now

That sucks, takes me about 10 mins to change out the headlights in my 2007 Yukon.

My bun warmers and coolers stopped working. I already had replaced the connector and pins at the seat module last spring. So I was like WTF!! I
Did some digging and found a new burnt connector and a BARE ******* wire!! Also found the pins are sloppy in the connector. What clown at GM designed the electrical system for these GMT900's?! At least it didn't catch fire or totally destroy this connector, but think I'm going to make my own plug for the high voltage lines.

I would just bypass that connector period like you said, weak point in the system

The connectors are so cheap, when I was pulling it apart today I can't believe how cheap the plastic is. It feels like it is getting brittle too.
