Gave the Yukon some love today, cleaned Engine bay and interior. She got a wash yesterday :buffer:

Night time results are in. These bulbs suck. They claim 12000 lumens but theyre slightly brighter than what i had before. They look good at 6000k but i feel like i took a step back in performance.

The light beam is very narrow and only focused on whats in front. Couldnt see where i was going taking turns in a mostly empty lot. Also there seems to be a lot of dead spots that my camera couldn't pick but it was very noticeable to the naked eye and quite annoying. High beams were a joke. Complete dead spot straight ahead while all the light was focused towards the top of trees

These next two pics is to give you an idea of how narrow the light are. Couldn't see the buildings nexts to us

Maybe just need a retro.. [emoji57] I need to do that as well. I like my Opt7 LED’s.. they’re bright af, and decent pattern, but since they’re in a stock style, non-projector housing, the beam pattern needs some real improvement. I can get by for now, but they’re pretty glaring, and barely where they need to be pointed.

Installed the Alpharexusa NOVA headlights. These things are definitely not your "eBay headlights". I see why the headlights cost $1000. The packaging was definitely better than even factory GM headlights; and the headlight itself is pure quality, they fit perfectly with barely any gaps, amazing brightness. plus they come with 2yr warranty. I'll try and upload a video later.

Those are badass! Wish they made them for my NBS. If you have any night shots, please share!

i dont think the LED lights work well without projectors, have you tried to rotate them to adjust the beam? probably hard to get a good pattern in a reflector since the chips are on two sides

Yes! Im wanting to do an hid retro but funds have been tight all year. Never been a fan of LED headlights but someone here had real experience so i figured I'll try them out

I haven't but per the manufacturer instructions they require the led chips to point toward 3 and 9 o'clock
