I love animals more than people. Living in Louisiana is justification for me saying that.

Also bought a full set of Escalade door panels only to find out they won’t work on the Tahoe

Not that I know of, I have Dyno info on my thread I think but not positive if I posted it
Do you have a graph? I can't find much info as to what these vehicles put down in terms of wheel horsepower.

Denalis would have to find a 4 wheel dyno, they are all wheel drive

2001 Yukon SLT
2012 Yukon Denali XL
2011 Yukon Denali RIP 5/20/18
Oh that's lame. Good for bad weather I guess. None of that stupid automatic 4wd stuff enabled by default that likes to blow up transfer cases.

I have watched this video a few times though.

Pretty neat what you can do with basically a stock engine. Porting the intake sounds like a fun time. Easy because its plastic so you can do it with an electric dremel.

Actually the transfer cases (at least for the NBS Denali) will take 800 HP. And it’s not “automatic 4WD” , AWD is different. It’s a blast with a supercharged 6.0!

No I know that Auto 4WD =! to AWD. The center diff used inside the case behind the trans is real cool. But on the actual 4wd in the tahoes that have the automatic mode- they have a clutch pack connected to the output for the front axle. In auto mode if the wheel speed sensors detect slip, it will slap the clutch pack shut which is ******* stuff and puts friction material into the fluid in there- which doesn't have a filter like your automatic transmission does.

Changed the oil.... this time didn't use any flush, pulled the plug, no oil, hole was blocked with sludge. yay! wiggled a screwdriver in there, all came out fine after that. Will flush next weekend I guess... Still running fine. I'd pull the pan if it wasn't such a pain.

Did you cut the filter open and see anything fun inside?

Is there a thread of people that have had their vehicle on a dyno?
we all ready know the 6.0 and 6.2l will smoke a 5.3l

the 6.0 has an huge advantage though... as it has a bonus 80HP and lots and lots of torque

In other news the sky is blue and waters wet! More at 11...

The cam that went in with the DoD delete and new engine is good for 51hp. Wanted to know wheel hp of other vehicles so I have something to compre it to.

Edit: at least the 6.0 vmax- i forget the RPO- was it L76? Aluminum block is ~150 pounds lighter, and has VVT, so thats an advantage aside from the HP in stock form

it;s the LFA 6.0 Hybrid Vortec 0.34 coefficient drag..

you will gain more power by Deleting NNBS 1.0v  and upgrading to NNBS revision version 2.0

the NNBS beta edition has 0.37 coefficient drag....

even with auto stop & hybrid mode disabled (M mode 4 speed auto) NNBS Rev 2.0 still get 16,5 MPG with 6.0 that is 200% of what a typical truck gets with the 6.0L L76 (city mpgs)..

if your lookimh for better track times that is what you want to do is lower the coefficient drag..

you will have less wind resistance.. with less wind resistance you will have much more available power
that is why dyno reading are pretty useless in the real world and on the road if you have a Aerodynamic drag issue...

Right, but don't forget that the Auto 4WD (not AWD) also has the front diff actuator that takes a second or so to engage the front diff when commanded. The Auto 4WD systems have a clutch pack in the transfer case, and the front diff actuator. NBS, not sure about the NNBS systems.
