Got a 98 Yukon, anyone have trouble with aftermarket stereos going bad? I’ve had two go bad within 2 months. Thinking it might be because of the factory rear amp, anyone have experience with it causing Problems?

I don't have experience with Yukon audio system but I do know an amp can kill your head unit if not wired correctly. Are you using a line level output from your Head unit (radio) to your rear amp?

No it’s a factory amp wired in through the main harness through the speaker wire, I removed the amp and took the radio off of the main harness, it’s now wired separate and working fine
