Riding around today

Driving my mom and son in the back seat today. Left home, slowing down for the red light into the inside turn lane doing maybe 20mph. 7 lanes wide with a concrete low median.

All of a sudden a loud thud happens!! Unknown reason until I notice the cracks in the windscreen. I get out to find a large chunk of glass chunked out.

Only a bus and 1 or 2 oncoming vehicles came through the intersection.

No road debris other than 2 water bottles. We can only surmise that someone chucked the bottle out of the window and the rate of close and exact angle of strike created the damage.

The cars were long gone the other way before I could determine what it was and what may have been the cause.

The last time somebody threw something at a truck I was riding in was in a lifted old squarebody Chevy 2 door p/u.

Came through the open passenger window, narrowly missed my head and exited the big back window leaving a hole in the glass as the 40oz bottle layed in the bed of the truck.

Not cool on both of these.
Guess Enterprise will be getting the window changed out.

Fukn people! No clue or respect. Happened to me once. Rock flew off a truck and cracked my windshield. I actually chased him down on the highway and pulled him over--without the police. It was an 18 wheeler pulling a dozer on a flatbed. Needless to say I was pissed!

Handicap license plate. Saw the guy jump down look under his truck and hop back in no worries and no step.

Looked cool then watched t bounce like a Sir Mix a Lot hoopty in the front and the steering wheel turn 10 degrees and the tires not even love.

Had a 4x4 still front bumper with a boat cleat on there.

It looked and sounded pretty rough up close but pretty damn high.
