Went out in the snow to pick up Dunkin Donuts for the family. Not many vehicles out in this, except plows and salt trucks. Roads are snow covered/snow packed, and I didn't really have much problems the 3 miles I drove each way. The traction light illuminated every now and then, mostly when accelerating from a light or a turn.

Can you start off in 2nd gear if you move the shifter to M and put it in 2nd? I can do this in mine but am 4x4 and not AWD.

Wife is driving it today.

She just left to pick up my daughter and says... ‘im all screwed up driving this one, keys for this one, none for that one, this one is shorter, that ones longer........’

She’s killin’ me.... been driving it for 5 yrs all of a sudden ‘its too short for her’ and ‘keys are a burden’...... smh

Well, you know where this is going right? She gets the GMC and now you can customize the Tahoe all you want, put 26s on it, super turbo chargers, **** carpet, dice, etc.

2/3 drop coming next? Or going the XFE/PPV route?

Ultimately, it'll be as close to a 4" front drop as I can reasonably get. I plan to install spindles and BT struts with them set to their lowest position. If I need to come up any, I'll shave the 2" lift strut spacers accordingly to lift it back up to put it exactly where I want it.

For the rear, I want about the same drop as the front because I want to keep the factory 1" rake. I have some experimenting to do involving some McG 3" coils and a set of mystery coils. If the McG coils drop it 3" and I want more, then I'll use the mystery coils cuz they look like they'd drop it alt least 4". If they drop it too much, I can use coil spacers to fine-tune the drop. If they're too soft, I have load bags on standby. They can be used to fine-tune the spring rate as well as the amount of drop. I plan to install the bags regardless just in case I tow a heavy load.

First I need to get baseline numbers with it completely stock. I'm gonna measure height, pinion angle, control arm angles, etc. I want everything to be as close to it's factory location as possible, just with the axle higher.

*sigh*
I can't just bolt in a kit and let it ride...
