install very simply, jack up rear, let rear axle drop down.
wrestle old spring out(No longer compressed)
Install new springs, add lower shock extensions, done.

I have a 2016 LTZ and it appears to have the same stance with the rear lowered. How can I tell if a lowering kit was installed?

Thanks for the info! It doesn't look like I have the shock extensions. Just the factory shock mounts. Is there another way it could have been dropped? My Tahoe sits level and it's definitely not lifted in the front.
