I found this site while trying to identify a mystery engine driven component. Turned out to be the vacuum pump, which is there I assume due to the AFM setup not allowing enough of a vacuum draw to run the brakes reliably.

Found this place while shopping and researching new vehicles. Google was my friend that day.

About two years ago, I was standing at the urinal in a truck stop in Tacoma around 3am. The diner waitress wavered next to me as she pulled her bloomers back up while mumbling out the side of her cigarette something about me "owing her twenty bucks". With my bloodshot and glazed eyes I saw in the dim, flickering fluorescent light something prophetic scratched into the chalky wall tile. It read "For a good time visit tahoeyukonforum.com". So, here I am, still having a good time.

Honestly, by accident. I did not know there was a forum for the Tahoe.

I love to buy and trade used vehicles and recently ran across a 09 Tahoe so a Google search revealed an active site here, and of course I am here to "data mine" it has been good so far. LOL not really "data mining" just messng wit U Hahaha maybe. I enjoy the site for what it is a reference. I would like to say thanks to the Moderators and Owners for keeping the site updated and healthy, that is no small task.
I am not sure about that Lantern **** thing and how that search would lead to a Ta"**"e forum Hmmmmm

I found it about 10+ years too late, better late then never, but learned a lot of things on the way here to share now and I learn something new every day.

"Mabel" her name was "Mabel Louise". I was at that same truck stop. Damn it's a small world.
