on record at the dealership is your key code, they can cut you a new key, *you need to prove you own it, so bring the registration with you. or you can take the code and go to a auto locksmith to have one cut. lock smith might be cheaper.

i locked my keys in my truck 100 miles from home, ended up calling my dealer getting the code and got to a locksmith, cost me 3 bucks lol

HERE WHERE I WORK WE CHARGE 30$ FOR THE KEY CODE, WE ASK FOR REGISTRATION/TITLE WITH YOUR NAME ON IT AND A VALID ID. KEY RUNS ABOUT 19$, SO YOUR LOOKING ABOUT 50$ PLUS TAX.

you didnt find mine. i had the best spot. i had a tool box in the bed, so under the bed rail under the box.

sadly i used to lock my keys in my trucks all the damn time, had to call a locksmith to break in the 97, thats when the hide a key came about. after that, its like oh crap locked the keys in it again, pull out spare go about my day no sweat.

They def are a good idea, as long as you had a spot like that. Alot of people put them under the car and as soon as they hit a bump or dip---there it goes.

I hope I never lose this bastard, the key is cheap by comparison, almost impossible to lock in the truck though because I never use the keyhole or the door locks
I can buy a entire new alarm for slightly less than what the fob alone cost's
