Got tired of the glare on the screen when I was using the backup camera, so I made a hood for it. First image is the view from the my eyeline. I may modify it a bit so it doesn't cut off the screen, but then again, that might defeat the purpose of the hood.

Looks nice, but being in FL(and the lax tint laws/enforcement), I'd definitely recommend a windshield strip of tint at the top if you haven't already, It's pretty bright in your cabin, do you have any other window tint?

I’ve got 20% on the front windows and sunroof. Nothing on the windshield. My screen still gets washed out frequently enough that it’s annoying.

My windshield is 3M 70% and it makes a huge difference but isn't that noticeable from the outside.

I can't get away with that in NC, might try something really light in ceramic just for the heat savings. Although I might wait till after winter, still have OEM glass, I'm betting it'll break this winter sometime.

on a side note Hey which window vents are those? I've been looking for the slim versions just don't know the model.

Edit: I see you are in NC as well, still don't think I could get away with a dark tint up front... I'm in the triad as well, do you recommend anywhere for the ceramic tint? I have to get the front two doors done again as well(bought used with a couple of nicks in the tint)

I have them as well. I love them. Although they hit the glass when you slam the door and people have reported that they also will hit the glass when they are driving fast.

70% is effectively clear... if you measured your UN-tinted front door glass with a VLT/tint meter it will measure out at around 70%... just FYI

I have the 70% ceramic on the windshield of my Burb with a 8" 5% strip at the top and 18% on the front doors to match the factory rear tint.

It is hot in FL and the tint makes a noticeable difference.

Yes, I know 70% is lite, but I'm after the thermal benefit more than anything else.

Oh I know FL... We lived there 7 years, our last car was 20% all around, with a big strip on the front.

70% is not noticable. I've had it inspected twice by the dealership, no issues.

I recommend Sound Solutions off Wendover Ave in Greensboro. Good work. Good prices.

Would there be a difference between the Tahoe/Yukon and the suburban/Yukon XL window visors? I don't see why there would be

shouldn't be, just the rear door glass is different on the bottom

They are different. I grabbed a set from another member off an XL not even thinking about it. Do not fit the tahoe. They are too long.

Well that sucks for me since I ordered the first link......
I still have time to cancel it on Amazon, but I also got a used/like new set(damaged PKG) for $28 shipped so I might just keep it and see if I can modify the rear ones
