For a few months I swore all my vibration issues and uncomfortable ride was all due to Magna Ride or the suspension. However, after deeper research and visits to the dealer, it was actually all transmission related. The Torque Converter Clutch was slipping and causing catastrophic vehicle shakes which felt suspension related. They did a transmission triple flush, new internal filter and replaced the TCC. Back to the way a $90,000 suv should feel. It was never suspension related.

My '15 Yukon XL Denali had similar symptoms, and like you the dealership did a triple flush, filter, and reprogrammed the TCM and it's been smooth ever since, actually quite an improvement, been over 15K miles now since that was done.

Nice! They had to go a step further and replace the Torque Converter on mine. Now it is 100% better. If it starts having issues again, suggest replacing TCC if you have a warranty to help cover it.

visited the steelership today and they checked the front shocks on my 15 XL Denali and as many others ... both front shocks with the Magnetic ride were found to be leaking and needed to be replaced. so replaced it and the ride improved but not so pleased with it and the cost is outrageous $1800 !!!! for a truck like that with only 85k miles and these things going bad!!!! tells me that GM is not focusing on the Quality or reliability at all. its a shame.

I swear mine have been dead since 10k. I took it into the dealer then and they said no issues... They ride was bouncy and crappy, and has just gotten worse. There is an ever growing...almost creaking sound...when the suspension cycles over large speed bumps (not the skinny tall ones, but the ones that are like 3 feet wide for 25 mph zones). There are 3 of them to get onto my street where I live. So im intimitly familiar which how the truck responds to them.

Its a huge debate of mine to replace them with non magnetic...vs trading the truck in...but on what?

Id love a 6.2 WITH OUT the MRC from the factory... Even in a pick up at this point

No way man. You should've told them no thanks. Could've gotten the front mag ride delete sensors and put aftermarket struts for half that

Yeah man. You gotta stay on top of it on the forums. Wish you would have asked before spending that money. I noticed when. I lowered ours last week that the dricers side strut was slightly (moist) lol. Once it gets bad enough I'll swap em out
