I’m hoping so too. That’s what my heat shields did too- turned white but didn’t burn through. But inside those white areas I had a couple wires burn, twice on the same ones. Both are hard to keep off the headers.

Maybe you guys just aren't driving fast enough to get some air in there too cool them down...

Zip ties are your friend.
Yes but that ruins the look of my engine bay! Anyway... the wires came today. I'll wait until the red shields come before installing them but they definitely are nice wires, and huge conductors. Here's comparisons between AC Delco OEM's, MSD Superconductors, and the Taylor 10.4 mm Race wires. Small to big. I also like how the Taylors have a place to grip the boot at the plug so you don't have to fight removing them.

No comparison. I originally had oem wires, they didn't last long at all. You shouldn't have any problems with the Taylors.

Got the shields today. They're a bit longer than the Ebay ones and tighter where they go around the plug end which makes them harder to get on. I installed a couple but I need to pull my wheels and inner fender liners to get better access. But I'm also in the process of putting together the 1500 bumper for The Machine. Priorities.

I got the 05 underhood fuse cover today so I can have an access cover for the efan relays and fuses since the 02’s didn’t have one. I would have needed to remove the fender brace and main fuse cover to access them if something was to blow. It still leaves a lot to be desired since the brace is still kind of in the way but it’s better. I can get to most of them.

Gotta let us know how you make out. I've had mine over 1 yr with 0 issues--granted I'm not supercharged--YET! I think you'll be good. They have the nice boots that are made for headers.
You said yet. It should happen soon then ;)

Be sure to check the fuse diagram on the new lid. I had to reuse my old one so the fuses match the diagram.
