Lots of repairs this month, maybe just one more lol. Windshield wipers are not working the harness is not getting power but... the 25 amp fuse under the dash reads 3 volts when i put my voltage meter on it and toggle the wiper switch. Been pondering how to repair this without ripping all the electrical out. Any ideas?

Have you checked the wiper motor? Could be a short in the harness somewhere along the way, too. See if you can probe the power wire with the volt meter along the way and see if you can find where there may be a break. Is the harness you’re talking about where in plugs into the relay or at the wiper motor itself?

No power at the harness where it plugs into the wiper motor itself i probed it with the voltmeter. Power at the fuse under the dash though. I was mostly wondering if i was missing anything obvious before ripping it all out lol

I believe that body style truck was notorious for issues with the delay board attached to the wiper motor. May check that out.

Check both, because you may have a bad/corroded connection on the wire side

Thanks I brought it to the shop I have a 60 buck credit plus 10% off figure I'll let them deal with it its suppossed to snow tomorrow and youd think 1500 bucks a month for rent in Colorado should get you an enclosed garage but it doesn't :( lol. Thanks guys I already I know I saved a ton from doing 90% of my own repairs literally everything is out of the way for them with new parts hopefully out of here in 2 hours with no appointment. I'll keep you posted on the retarded thing it probably was lol
