Alsoooooo, not really the point of paved roads and/or electricity.... its the point of it feeling like its 1030pm when its really only 430.Dark at 4:30? So, you're a fancy upstater and you have paved roads, but no electricity yet? Come down here where it's light enough to work outside until 7:30. After dark, you can use the lights in my shop. Not trying to brag, just offer some of our southern luxuries. We have runnning water and indoor outhouses, but you're welcome to piss in the creek at the back of the property if that's more comforting. Whatever helps you get that Tahoe where you want it...

Not really the issue, its the time thing dub. 3 kids 11yo and under that always have something going on. They do eat up a big chunk of my check tho...but it’s really about the time.... now its gonna get dark at f’in 430pm.... which makes me feel like its 10pm....

I'll be doing mine today as well. Mine requires only 6 quarts. Explain your 10 quarts, please.
You gonna change it twice?

Haha right, kids kill the fun fund and winter kills the daylight hours to what maybe 7 hrs of light![]()
The first 4 qts he forgot the drain plug haha

Nicely done! I have the same except mine is a 42” straight bar.I also installed a 42" 800W curved LED light bar behind the grill and wired it up to my, previously unused (due to factory recall), heated washer fluid switch on the dash:

Here are some pics with the grill and bumper off:

In this pic ^^^ you can see the light bar and the new oil cooler on the passenger side, the bigger trans cooler is in the center.

This pic ^^^ shows the clearance between the light bar and the headlights.

The curved light bar fits behind the grill without any trimming necessary.

Installed a remote mount dual oil filter kit and oil cooler:

Now I can run bigger filters and they are easy to get to.
I changed my oil cooler lines as well as replaced my rear hatch release button. I'll be doing DIC very soon.
Nice. What relocation kit did you get?
I've been pondering getting one myself.
Replaced plugs and wires this weekend. Had a cylinder #7 misfire. Running smooth again.

Just had the same type of accident in June and my estimate was very much the same ($900-950). Replacement bumper from RockAuto.com was $160, painted by local shop was $375. Put in in myself after they painted. Looks 100% and pocketed the rest. Just something to think about.I got into a minor accident last Monday. I have only owned the Tahoe for two months, but was rear-ended as the lead car in the a three-car accident. The Nissan Leaf behind me was hit by the car behind him. All damages are relatively minor, and all cars were able to be driven away. There were no injuries.
The body shop quoted me $952.00 for the bumper and hitch cover. It is mostly all labor after their estimated $300 in parts. They will have to determine if other damages exist to the hitch, spare tire components, etc., when they do the work. They said they are going to repair the bumper instead of replacing it, as a good used bumper would be too hard to source. This doesn't make sense to me, but that is how it works. Gotta love insurance companies. As long as it looks as good as it did two months ago when I bought it, and everything works correctly and is safe, it is all good. Sad to already have to deal with this on my new-to-me Tahoe, but it did take the hit well.
