What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

After multiple break in periods, and months of squealing, I finally got around to changing my brake pads. Read a few folks talking about Wagner thermoquiet, so I got me some. And then I washed her up real good.

I had the wagner thermo quiets on my trailblazer they started squealing after a few months. Was driving the wife crazy so I went with the wagner oex pads supposedly a newer design .they been on for over a year now with no problems

Just some new taillights, a little clay bar action, washed her and some paint sealer.

Mine drove me to drink, I ended up getting wearever pads from advanced. I've never heard of them, we'll see how they hold up.

I originally thought they'd come from China, but they actually came from Canada. Only took five days.

I got the black version of them. They are great. I have bought 4 sets for various vehicles now. And not one problem

Hahahahaha, I feel your pain man. That's exactly what happened when we were parking at the beach. I tucked my tail and drove off

Myrtle Beach this year. Was kind of a cold, cloudy week for it but the kids had a blast and we made the most of our time so it was good.

My little girl couldn't stand the 2 hour drive to the beach, haha. So we moved there.

Overall they did good considering but there definitely were some stressful times along with some stern conversations along the way about how they were to behave if they wanted a happy daddy

I was going to go bleed my brakes after installing a new caliper.
But, I read that it may need a scan tool to do this because of the abs not allowing the air out or something like that.
Is this true? Or, can I just bleed my brakes?

....and also just ordered new Moog tie rod ends from Rock Auto.

Yes and no. Bleed them regular and if they feel low or spongy go out to a gravel road or field and drive just fast enough and step on them to lock up-ish, this will kick on abs pump and push fluid thru... may have to do it a few times... but see how they feel first..they may be fine... i think @iamdub had a good single man bleeding procedure ....

He cycles the key to ON a few times just as he's pushing the pedal in an old school bleed method. This actuates the abs solenoid in the MC. Just don't push the pedal to the floor. You can use a 2x4 or something underneath it if you can't control yourself.
