Just wanted to let you know I spoke with Tony about the bushings from DJM and the issue you had. I was concerned about the ones I had just received and asked him if I should be buying new ones as well. He said for you to contact him for new ones free of charge and that DJM does indeed provide Poly Bushings... Not sure how long yours were on or why they failed. Where they an older set before they revised the bushing? 2011?

I bought them through Tony less than a year ago. I already have new bushings though.

Strange... I wonder why they failed so fast. You must drive like I do lmao. I bought the energy suspension ones for cheap insurance as well. They only had the greasable one for the smaller rear bar so one is and one isn't... Oh well. You off work yet installing that Whipple or what man? I sure hope you get some nice weather this weekend, good luck!!!

I really wanna like this post but how many times have you saved the bosses ass and what have you gotten out of it? Besides keeping your job, a steady paycheck and Monday off? I vote with the other guys, sneak outta there and start wrenching lol. I'm another week behind on mine now, I sure hope you get yours done this weekend...

Tonight I pulled the engine covers and took it to a self-serve car wash and cleaned the engine. First things first. And although I've been reading and re-reading the instructions I never really started laying out the hoses until tonight. Bad idea, I should have done this days ago. I thought the instructions looked pretty good until I started noticing discrepancies between what they sent me and what's in the instructions and pictures. For one, they show the fuel line being connected on the driver side with what they say is the " short fuel line" which I don't have because the connection is actually on the passenger fuel rail and there are 3 equal length fuel lines, one with different angles on the fittings than the other 2 . The 2 that are the same are obviously the front and rear lines that connect at the front and rear fuel rail connectors. The third must go from the passenger side rail to the factory fuel line. Then there's a round object on the driver side rail with another smaller fitting and this item isn't mentioned. And it's not in the pictures. The pics they show don't have this. I think it goes to the purge solenoid at it's rear connection. I have a line that fits that's labeled "evap hose to tank" that's not mentioned. Then there's a line labeled "evap hose to inlet" and the instructions just say to route it around the front of the blower but not where to connect it. It might go to a fitting on the air inlet. There's about a dozen hoses and lines and it's a bit confusing. I emailed Justin @BBP with pics and he's trying to help me out but I don't know if he'll be available after hours. We'll see.

I'll see if I can pull the instructions from the Whipple site and see what I can make of it... Gimme a few

Edit: No go, need to have an account for access. Do you have a login? Or PDF of the manual?

I have a login. Their site is useless. There's no manuals online that I can find. I have the install manual, all 72 pages of it. Like I said, the pictures aren't accurate nor are the instructions. Justin @ Blackbear is trying to help me. He says Whipple is known for bad instructions. Now I find out. I don't know if I want to tear my truck apart until I get answers, I can't have it down for days and days. I'm pretty pissed off right now. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Thanks guys. I'm thinking I'll end up doing what I always do when there's a lot of shit to figure out what goes where- hook up all the shit that I can figure out and see what's left, then figure out each leftover problem one at a time. I guess that's why I also figured to take Monday off work - so I can call the assholes and talk to them if I can't get it done.

This is part of what I'm trying to figure out. This part here. You see, I just figured out that my truck has a return fuel line. It has a 3/8" feed line and a 5/16" return line from what I've read and what I can see. The fuel regulator is supposedly on the stock fuel rail. I have this item on the new fuel rail that isn't mentioned in the instructions. It appears to have a connection that my return line could hook up to. It also appears to have an opening opposite that which looks to have an inside circular clip that might attach to something but there's nothing in the kit which would attach there. The box that the fuel rails came in (see pic) lists a pressure regulator (installed it says) and a FPR mount w/oring and snapring (installed it says). Also a fuel return fitting (installed it says). See the confusion? The other fuel rail has a 3/8" quick connect in the center that I believe is where the fuel line goes but I'm not sure. This is just the fuel line. There's a couple other lines that have me confused too.

I just got an email from your guys saying the FPR is only used for flex fuel, 8th VIN "Z". The box the fuel rails came in says it's for a pickup with 8th letter VIN "Z". Also there's too many quick connects for fuel lines and no diagram.
