Have really been wanting to change the sound of the Yukon and free up some extra horse power in the process. Been eye balling these:

May spring for this, but don't really care for how far the tips are spread apart, and I have no idea what the mufflers sound like:

Love my Magnaflow 12259 I have now, but I'm thinking long tubes with off road Y-pipe and an X-pipe would give it a unique sound. Would just need to figure out what mufflers to run... And convince the wife they are needed. LOL

EDIT:

Definitely a no go on the tip spacing with the bolt on kit...

However, the mufflers included with the kit sound great!

This could be a mean sound. "And convince the wife they are needed. LOL" I showed her the videos of the Black Widow muffler just to give it some growl. She said nope, you can do that to your truck.

Guess no headers or muffler for the Suburban on my end, but let me know how you do end up convincing her. Maybe I'll just sneak on the SLP resonator delete for looks and call it a day. Lol

@Fosscore go with the non-Race version, the Black Widow Venom 250. With a factory resonator it sounds just as good but not as ballsy as the Race version. And it's fairly inexpensive, too.

@Countryboy07 your (or your wife's??) daily driver just gets better and better and better...
Keep up the great work.

It's more of a do it and ask for forgiveness type thing. Lol My wife says she would be perfectly content on driving this Yukon 100% the way we bought it, but she would have been bored with it by now...

Thanks man! This is the Wife's DD/kid hauler. She was pretty upset when the running boards "disappeared"

electric cutout and keep your current exhaust. The headers would be a nice addition.

I had thought about that, but thinking the headers would be a better option as any exhaust exiting under the vehicle makes the drone almost unbearable. Had a turn down after the muffler for 4 days until I could get it into the exhaust shop, and my wife was about ready to kill me.

Not much of an update... but talked with Black Bear and they recommended I install a Vette Servo before I get the tune... so I ordered one of those today from Oregon Performance Transmissions. Less than $20.00 shipped to my door. Now to grow a pair and install it myself when it arrives...

Also, Headers and new exhaust will have to wait... old work truck needs new injectors.

I installed one on my 90 Sierra with the 700r4 and it wasn't that difficult. Make sure you have some extra fluid to top off the transmission because it does leak out a bit. I believe it is the same part for our transmission also.

Lol at least that's way cheaper in parts

Yep, like $500 for a full set of injectors, glow plugs, and all the gaskets I'll need. I could buy two, almost three injectors for my old powerstroke for that. Lol
