I have started getting a service brake system alert pop up on my screen. Around the same time my brakes feel like an old all drum brake non boosted car. My 15 Tahoe has 72k on it so its not covered under warranty. It really only happens when I'm in slow traffic and having to ride the pedal.

Any ideas what this could be?
