Thanks for the replies. I'll be ordering the 8k Voukes. Color me stupid, but couldn't I just use the 8k in both the low and high beams? Obviously they wouldn't be as bright as the 12k, but with both lows and highs on at the same time, combined with the broader pattern of the high beam housing, it should be sufficient, right? Any problem with them getting too hot for the Depo housings? @Fosscore @Bigbeardenali1992

In other news, I've about finished up putting in the LED light bar. No tint on it yet. Gonna see if I can love it without the tint. If not, I'll put some on and see how it performs with the tint.

It looks greenish in the pic, but in person is a nice bright white. Still have to finish up the custom bracket for the driver side, and zip tie some of the wiring, but it's just about finished. Been so hot today that work has been very slow going.

Haven't noticed any heat issues with the Depos and I also thought about the lows in the highs.

I city drive and really only flash all on with the Fleece, but would be nice to round out the LED front end.

Awesome. Thanks for the responses guys. I've ordered one set of the 8k lumens with the cooling fins for my lows. I got a chance to try out my led light bar, and WOW! It eliminates the need for the high beams. But if I like the Voukes for my low beams, I may order another set for my high beams. They'll be able to see me from the next state over! Lol

Damn that thing looks awesome! That led bar is killer! Now I want one! Haha. I never thought about doing it that way with the 8ks in both. I would be interested to see what that looks like. And for the price of the 8k, you can't go wrong with them. I would have gone that route but California has stupid light laws and I can't have highs and lows on at the same time. So I can't do the fleece mod. :(. But I'd love to see that on your truck! Btw, love the police box front plate!! :p

Thanks. Lol. That's actually a Doctor Who reference. The Police Public Call Box. I know it breaks up the sexy lines of the car, but I love me some Doctor Who. And it makes people curious who don't know what it's from. I just wish it was a truer black. My car is so black it makes the plate look purple. I've got a smoked tag cover coming in today that I'm going to put over it to see if that helps some.

That sucks about California's low beam/high beam laws. I honestly have no idea what Tennessee's laws are on that, but I can't imagine the cops around here hassling anybody over it unless you're just driving around with them all on and blinding everybody.

I think most states laws are pretty similar and have to do with the number of lights on at once, not which lights they are...

I have never been hassled and I have 8 white lights on the front when low beams are on and 10 when highs are on- low beams, full time DRL ,full time fogs and switchback turns which are white until activated. Then lows are on when highs are sctivated so my HID's don't turn off and then have to warm up again.

Yeah I knew the doctor who reference haha. I'm a hardcore nerd! I can only have 4 front facing lights on at a time! California laws suck! So I could have lows and highs on, but nothing else. Or lows and fogs, or highs and fogs, but nothing else. I still need to do the mod that will allow my fogs to stay on with my high beams. That would make a huge difference, havent quite figured that one out yet.

Yesterday I finally finished installing my front-facing camera. Installed a push-button momentary switch that allows me to cycle through the front-facing camera, the backup camera, and the stock radio/nav screen.

Pardon all the weeds in and around the driveway. No excuses. I've neglected it.

The video feeds have a lot of electrical "noise" that I've determined is from the cheap RCA being combined with the power wire. So, until I want to run separate RCAs and power wires, I'll just deal with the lines on the screen. If I can't make time to stay on top of flower bed maintenance, I'm not going to worry about less than perfect parking views. Lol.

I also got my 3.5mm aux plug put in the dash. I haven't wired it up to the XM receiver yet. May get to that later today. Not a big priority, but since I was dremeling it a hole for the video switcher, figured I'd go ahead and get the Aux jack in there.
