That's probably not worth the thousands of dollars it's going to cost. Most just upgrade to 07+ Tahoe rotors, calipers, and brackets.

The 00-06 have 12" rotors and 07-13 have 13" rotors but the upgrade also has a redesigned caliper

Yeah that. I did it myself. I got reman calipers and brackets from the parts store. Ordered a stoptech slotted and drilled rotor and pad set and Russel Stainless lines. Stops so good now. Next I'm going to flush the PS pump for my hydroboost to have some fresh fluid. It helps a little with pedal feel

Would this mod work for OBS Denali? I have the silly drum setup on her still.

Edit: The NNBS rear disc brakes I meant.

Did you find out anything good while researching this?

Ryan I found out on the silverado ss forum several folks have done that set up. That set up can be done on the nbs tahoe and yukons but its not worth it because the brake pad do not contact the entire disc so its not worth the money. You are better doing the 07 set up, thats what I ended up doing and believe me it makes a difference.

That's what I was just thinking earlier maybe I can order just the Rings for my rotors since they're the two-piece ones in the bigger size

Are you talking about doing the OEM 07-14 front brakes on the 02-06's? I did that first before going with Wilwoods and it did improve the braking over the original.
