Z 71 seat question

As I was getting my truck worked on the mechanic wanted my third row seats I am not using em I need room for bikes. But he did not have the mounts for a 3 rd row. I thought that was weird but it gets better

another guy (both z71) came to look at em (he did not buy em). He had the brackets
is this an option on these trucks? Both trucks are 2003

I believe the mounts are always there but you have to get under the rear carpet and then cut out access in the carpet to mount them. I believe I read that in a previous thread here once.

I don't think the actual mounts (bars & bolts) are there, but I'm pretty sure that the holes are. I see the hardware in trucks at the U-Pull all the time; they're pricey online.
