Thanks very much for sharing this information, I have a tail light out on my 2016 Yukon XL and I called the dealer with The Special Coverage Adjustment # N182180270, they were able to quickly look it up, see that it applied to my truck (fortunately only 56k miles) and agreed that they would fix it for free (GM would cover it)! Saved me a lot of hassle, and I was about to order a new one and install it myself! Thanks!!

I kept my old ones and will try a repair if I have an issue with the new ones.

Well, I did have an issue with the new aftermarket lights. The driver side light was fogging up on the inside.

I have removed those and reinstalled the OEM lights. I am supposed to be getting a full refund. Fingers crossed.

I have ordered new aftermarket lights of a different style. I will reinstall during the holiday weekend. I am getting pretty good at swapping tail lights.

Some day, I will have tail lights that work properly all the time.
