What is the going rate for a 2/3 drop install? I went to a local shop and they stated it would be $2200 for the kit, installation, and alignment.

How hard is the install for the Do it your self guy?

Geez!! Ill do it for like $2k ;) Kidding. Thats insane. You can do it yourself if you have some tools, and then just get it aligned. Buy the kit from Tony - NorcalSS, I wouldnt think more than a couple hundred to install and an alignment for maybe $60? $2200 is insanity.

Yes that is insane. Get the kit from Tony aka Norcalss and then you can do it yourself as I did but had help with a lift from a buddy or take it to a shop and have them do it for a few hundred and allignement should be more then 150. The rear is a very simple install and should only take 30-45 mins to do.

Aww I'd go vandalize that shop so bad! $2200 you could buy 10 2/3 kits!

Do it yourself, it'll take time if you don't have a lift, but its worth saving the huge costs people will charge. Unless you have a friend that works at a shop.

I have a 02 Yukon Xl, I am rolling 305/35/24 at the moment. I don't plan to move up to 26s until first of the year. I figure the rim upgrade would be last on the list. I going to say non autoride? Still debating should I stick with 24' or move up to 26' keep going back and forth with that....Thanks

I had an '01 YXL with same size tires. Started off as 3/5 from Tony, ended up as a 4/6 no major rubbing.
