Yes, stock crossmember would need to be from a truck that came with an 80e originally, like maybe a 2500 suburban?

So then there won't be any issues with the ECU controlling the 4l80 over the 60?

Also need a different flex plate/converter and shorten your driveshaft. We should have had that trans stock.

Out of curiosity is it possible to pull the front drive shaft without any issues? I'm pretty sure my front dif is starting to make noise and I had planned to pull the cv axles for sure but if I can just pull it all out and temporarily leave the transfer case that'd be awesome.

Yes you can on a selectable 4wd/2wd transfer case. On a fulltime AWD setup like the denalis and escalades have you cant, it wont drive properly.
