So now we have a Yukon, with a bowtie, trying to look like a tundra... Lol JK I like how you are being different from everyone else. Not sure what I think about the plastidip outsides though.

Its different, kinda goes against the norm so it's hard to appreciate. I keep looking at it to see if I could/should do anything differently. I do plan to paint the lower valance with a gloss black.

Maybe black headlights and turn signals would flow with the black sides better. What do you think?

Hmmmmm... Haven't thought about it. Usually don't go aftermarket with stuff like that but you've got me thinking about it now.

I'm gonna be the odd ball here but I like the looks of that. I agree maybe some black headlight and all that would look good but even getting rid of the orange would make it look a lot better. I cannot stand the orange in any headlight

Really? Monstrosity? Dang... Lol. I really would like to know what you don't like about it. Too much chrome still? Should have left it GMC?

Okay maybe that was too harsh.

I apologize.

Just looks out of place.

Get a black denali style grille and call it done imo

Yeah I like that look too. In fact, I'm sure at some point I'll paint (dip) the rest of this grill black and paint the bowtie silver. That's the beauty of plasti dip. I can still go back to completely stock if I want to.

i like it plastidipped, as long as you debadged the rest of the truck i'm completely on board with this, looks dope to me with the chrome outline plastidipped sides.

and i'm a dude who doesnt like chrome anything

as long as the bowtie is the only thing tying it to gm youre golden in my book, looks way off if you got like GMC center caps on your wheels and rear end and then throw a bowtie on the front

Yeah I agree, I did debadge and actually have tahoe wheels on it. The only thing that says GMC is the steering wheel. I'm loving it, I'll probably dip the chrome on the side moldings and rear bumper too.

Update... Dipped the rest of the grill, the sideoldings and the rear bumper. I blacked out the orange in the headlights but peeled it off after a couple hours because I didn't like the look.

I'm loving it!

I want your wheels.
I think your next mod should lighting. LED tails and rid of the ugly amber reflectors up front. That'll really clean it up....or dip the amber like you already did and spray a couple coats of Dip Glossifer (not Clear dip).

I really don't "hate" the current tails, I got some with the glassy black finish around the edges and I think it looks pretty good. Only thing I'm really worried about up front is my turn signals because they are pretty faded. I'd rather the orange not be there but it doesn't bother me enough to spend the money on new ones. I may try something else with the headlights to give it a slightly different look. Thinking about dipping the top edge to look a little "angry" like the 05-07 silverado.
