For you guys that have an aftermarket front bumper that exposes the window washer reservoir, what have you done to help protect it?

After I put my front bumper on, I don't like how much it hangs done and is exposed as much as it is.

I was thinking of maybe fabricating something out of sheet metal or plastic to wrap around it as one idea. Another idea is relocating it to a different part of the engine bay but that could be a big deal considering its shape. The third idea is to find a shallower tank maybe.
What ideas do you guys have, or have tried?

Mine is in the stock location and it has never been a problem.
Thanks @Tozan . Good to know. I may do something yet, though.

Hey, what fender flares do you have on your rig?
Also, your signature says you are using a Warn 9500. Have you ever wished you had a bigger winch for your set-up?

My flares are made by Bushwacker the fit and finish is very sub par and they had to be trimed to fit the bumpers. I would not recommend them.

The 9500 is rated a lot heavier than my rig. Plus I actually have never used to to get unstuck it has only been used to aid other people...

I recently built a high clearance front bumper and removed the washer reservoir. I've got a secondary battery set up in my rig so I'm planning on fabing up an aluminum reservoir on the right side infront of the radiator/ next to the headlight area. If I remember the dimensions right I was planning on getting a 4" piece of round tubing 12" long and welding on a additional rectangle piece off to the left of it where the sensor and pumps will be mounted.

Would love to see what you come up with for the wash tank!

4 inch lift running 35's if you look close you can see my washer tank still in the stock location after thousands of miles off road.

Thanks @Tozan
That's good to know!
Your bumper conceals the wash tank more than mine so I may still do something later if I see it taking abuse.
Hey, what wheels are those you are running?
Also, what didn't you like about the fender flares?

The flares do not fit very tight and they start flopping around and the door flares are not very secure. One of them fell off when I was off road I was lucky it was on a trail I had to come back on so I found it on the way out. I also had to cut them to fit the bumpers...

Thanks. I am wondering if double-sided tape might remedy some of that problem with them flopping and falling off?
I got a set of Bushwackers for my rig, but been on the fence about taking them back because of problems people have mentioned in some posts I have read.
I was thinking of double-sided tape can help secure it. Frankly, that should have been something Bushwacker should have provided, IMO.

I live in Arizona and double sided tape would most likely stop sticking in a week or two... I was tempted to drill out the fake Bushwacker bolts and install real ones through the fender wells.

I am still considering relocating/replacing my window wash tank. I have seen options for an aluminum wash tank, but the ones I found only have a single pump and no level sensor. I suppose I could modify one to have dual pumps and a sensor, but I would like to see if there are other options. I do want to keep the space open for a second battery.
I like @Swanbird11 idea. Did you ever build that?
Another option I read is where someone used a wash tank from a 96, but did not see any details on that idea.
Any other ideas?

A piece of aluminum covering the front and bottom would be the easiest and would still look good.
