Ok first of all i have 07 LTZ Tahoe and suspension is stock an i will keep at that height. Im about to buy new wheels and tires. Wheels are Liquid Metal Magma 22 x 9.5 with 25+ offset and 6 1/4 back spacing. I will use Nitto 420s or BFG G-Force T/A KDW 305/40/22. Iwas wandering will i have any rubbing issues and are this 305/40 tires too wide for 9.5" rim. Thanks

well I have an 08 Z71 with a set of 22x9.5 wheels, Toyo proxes s/t 305/40/R22 and have no issues with rubbing. The ONLY time i hear any sort of rub is in reverse with the wheel cut all the way to the left, but i found that it is the drivers side front that catches the wheel well by a hair.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine at 9, not so sure at 9.5 ... these trucks have a factory option with 22x9 wheels with a 285/45/22 which actually are slightly bigger in height/diameter/circumference/radius than 22s with 305/40/22.

The only thing I'm not sure about in your case is the extra half inch in tire width and if that will result in rubbing. Maybe someone who runs that setup can tell you for sure.

sonlight, I believe the Z71 has a different stock height (higher) that the LTZ because of the off road package.

that may be close. Im not sure about the 9.5 combined with a 305 tire and +25mm offset.
I have a 22x9 and mines is touching the rear of the wheel well, But im lowered 2 in the front.
