Picked up a 15 Denali XL from a family member. 140k miles on the clock. Dealer said it needed a “lower engine” replacement.
I bought it and plan is for a built 6.2 with whipple. I ordered the blower already. Based on the forum advice I reached out to tk performance and patc for trans and converter. Will get those ordered. Exhaust is up in the air.
drug it home over the weekend and got the motor yanked today. Looks like a valve let loose and smashed a piston. If we can save the crank we will reuse it. If we can’t we will get a stroker crank.
