Where are you guys splicing in your LOC's? I was thinking I could tap the sub wires under the cup holders but that's after the amp right? Won't that interfere with bass output at higher volumes since the Bose amp attenuates the lows as the volume goes up? Could I tap into it before the amp, like behind the head unit?

That's an informative write up but I'm still wondering if that will have an effect on the signal that goes to the amp when the volume gets turned up.

I cant speak in technical terms about the impedance of the signals affecting output (I know what it means, but not for sure how it works on these trucks)... however, I can say in mine, I used the LOC, off the sub wires as shown in that writeup, and when I am playing songs with bass, the levels do not get automatically adjusted. Now, I am not pushing 6000 watts and 4, 15" subs either. Its a single 10, but it puts out a decent amount of bass, and I can near hear any kind of "limiting"...

I was looking at that exact one. Did you turn the gain for each channel all the way up?
