Where to buy parts?

Hello, I got a quote of ~$130 for trans pan gasket(~$30) & filter (~$50) and rear diff cover gasket(~$50) from the dealer. It is much higher than rockauto(~$75).
Are the parts the same from rockauto and dealer?
Is there a better place to get the parts?

Have you tried local? I picked up a wix trans pan gasket and filter for 20 bucks. It's a cork style gasket which I prefer over rubber. Dealer is always going to be expensive

id go local.... wrong part can go back, no shipping, no waiting or if you really want online rockauto

Go local or research properly and go amazon or rockauto. I've even found good deals on ACDelco parts shipped to my local walmart.

Yep, and if you buy stuff online from advance or somewhere and pick-up in store you can get the fluids for much cheaper with coupon codes and speed perks. I buy all my oil from there so with a 20% off coupon and some speed perks I got three quarts of Mobil 1 gear lube for the rear end for less than the price of two.
